JOB SUMMARY Infrastructure Specialist will ensure ongoing monitoring of current performance to ensure appropriate levels of capacity have been provided. Also responsible for providing trends for planning capacity upgrades, Performing capacity monitor ing, analysis and tuning activities. Identifies Risks & prepare Mitigation plan. Identifies the tasks which can be automated and creates scripts for automations. Works on Root Cause Analysis and creates appropriate measures on repetitive issues JOB R ESPONSIBILITIES #Excellent Communication Skills #Experience Knowledge in administering multiple monitoring systems #Experience Knowledge with Network monitoring Systems #Management of false positives and negative alerts #Proactively monitor, diagnose and analyze the issues on the servers based on the alerts on the monitoring system. #Appropriately escalate the issues to the next level and involve the L2 L3 support, Major Incident Management teams when required. #Create and assign tickets to next level engineers in the shift for server, configuration, performance related issues #Follow up the issues raised until resolved by the support team. #Monitoring the inhouse developed support tools performance and providing inputs for improvement of t he tools to the relevant teams. #Log all alerts, incidents and requests in the CRM tool and support join major incident calls as and when required #Timely escalation to L2 L3 and client Support Managers in case of technical support team is unresponsi ve #Adaptability of new monitoring tools and platform #Experience of monitoring network components, devices and interfaces, servers, application and components from different cloud providers like AWS, Azure etc. #Initiate e-mail notifications to cust omers and internal stakeholders regarding any planned maintenances, Impacting Incidents #Coordinate with 3rd party service provider teams for resolving the issues faster #Experience in building dashboards and reports like availability, capacity, perf ormance reports #Provide periodical and adhoc reports to the internal and client Support Managers #Coordination with cross functional teams in the organization for planning of their monitoring requirements. #Taking part in strategic planning.
