Infra Business Development Manager - India (Building Product division )BPR, Pune India

About the role

Your Impact as

This role requires an ambitious professional, with a high drive for results, that is highly competent in gathering the relevant market and business information from multiple stakeholders, and that naturally combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach in driving actions resulting in profitable business growth for Bekaert.

A Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent proven technical or commercial experience may also be considered. Exposure to retail market is preferred.

Engineer from Precast Industry would be preferred.

Minimum 8-10 years of Industry experience in valued added business (not commodity selling).

Commercial development acumen including value chain analysis, customer need analysis, definition of value proposition, market positioning and financial analysis.

Competent in Prospecting , Business development via Networking.

Boundary Walls

Identify the local distributors/ channel partners working with Railways & Highways

Presentations to Railway Chief Engineer to convey the technical superiority of the solution

Product specifications in the Government spec.

Managing expectations of distributors / precasters

Product trials, site support, design support

Business development across India

Annual target for 2023

2.Precast Trenches for Highways

Identify the Precasters Highways

Identifying the partners who can give us access at state level and central level (if required)

Product specifications in the Government spec.

Managing expectations of distributors / precasters

Product trials, site support, design support

Business development across India

Annual target for 2023

3.Precast Pipes / Box culverts

Identify top 10 Precast companies active in Precast pipes.

Clear segmentation on - Private vs Government

Close development with Precast machine manufactures who will help us in connecting to the top precasters in India.

Connecting via Consultants / precast set-up companies like Elematic to understand way to penetrate new SFRC solution to their client.

4.Residential Precast Walls

Identify top 10 precatser developing this solution for the Real Estate Developers in India

Pararelly approach top 10 Real Estate developers who would be seeking solution for the Precast Walls.
