Professional Summary


Experienced Informatica Cloud MDM Administrator with a strong background in setting up and managing enterprise-grade MDM platforms from the ground up. Skilled in configuring Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), managing licensing and access, and implementing CI/CD pipelines on AWS. Adept at establishing Dev, QA, Pre Prod, and Prod environments aligned with Informaticas best practices. Familiar with integrating MDM workflows into broader data ecosystems, including Databricks Lakehouse architecture.


Core Responsibilities


MDM Platform Setup & Configuration


Establish foundational MDM architecture using Informatica Cloud, including Secure Agent deployment, runtime environment setup, and metadata configuration.


Define and implement core data models, match and merge rules, survivorship logic, and data quality standards.


Configure business entities e.g Person, Organization) using Smart Fields and Document-style modeling.


Align platform setup with Informatica Cloud best practices for scalability, performance, and governance.


Access Licensing Management


Administer Informatica licensing including entitlement management, license activation, and renewal.


Configure role based access control for developers, testers, operators, and data stewards.


Manage organizational hierarchy within IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud), including sub-orgs and environment-specific access.


Environment Setup


Design and implement isolated environments for Dev, QA, Pre Prod, and Prod, ensuring secure data flow and controlled asset promotion.


Define environment-specific configurations and deployment strategies using metadata-driven approaches.


Monitor environment health, job performance, and audit logs across all stages.


CI CD Pipeline Implementation


Build CI CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS-native tools CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy


Automate deployment of mappings, workflows, and configurations using Informatica REST API


Maintain version control and release management using Git strategies and tagging conventions


Cloud Infrastructure Integration


Deploy and manage Informatica Cloud components on AWS, ensuring secure connectivity and resource optimization.


Configure data integration workflows with AWS services such as S3, RDS, Redshift, and Glue.


NicetoHave: Databricks Lakehouse Integration


Familiarity with integrating Informatica Cloud MDM with Databricks Lakehouse architecture.


Understanding of ELT ETL workflows between MDM and Databricks SQL Warehouses.


Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles or Terraform for environment provisioning.


Preferred Skills


Strong SQL and data profiling capabilities


Experience with Agile delivery and tools like JIRA and Confluence


Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance domain


Python scripting for automation and validation
