Job Overview

As an Infection Control Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining infection prevention and control measures in our hospital. This is a full-time position based in Kochi, Kerala. Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kerala

• Excellent understanding of healthcare-associated infections and their prevention
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends in infection control
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Implement and maintain infection prevention and control practices in compliance with established guidelines and protocols
• Educate healthcare staff on proper infection prevention techniques and protocols
• Monitor and evaluate infection control measures to identify areas for improvement
• Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections
• Respond to infectious disease outbreaks and implement appropriate control measures
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
• Provide infection control training and education programs to staff
• Stay updated on emerging infectious diseases and changes in infection control guidelines
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to infection control
