Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design line layouts, method studies, and accurate SMV/SAM calculations to support planning and costing. Optimize production using Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Kanban) and time & motion studies to identify and reduce non-value-added activities. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and streamline style changeovers. Build SOPs and provide training on best practices to supervisors, line leaders, and operators. Collaborate with planning, merchandising, and IT teams to digitize IE reporting and integrate with ERP systems. Drive measurable improvements in line efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelors in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar are preferred. Experience: 8-12 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Proven track record in high-volume, multi-line plants. Denim and woven garment expertise is preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of method study, SMV calculations, and capacity planning. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and root cause analysis tools. Familiarity with ERP systems, production tracking, and IE software (e.g., GSD, SewEasy). Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team-building abilities. Data-driven problem solver with strong communication skills. Proactive and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
