OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Method time Management: Define, Measure, Analyze and provide right method time and continuous improvement in Method times.
• Define the Workstation, Production line and Infra requirements through Manufacturing Line Design
• Deploy Recurrent cost saving ideas to reduce the Industrial Times.
• Define Manning requirements
• Implement Lean practices in Site
• Lead improvement projects with Industrial Project approach
• Support the Bids & Tenders team with Method time Estimate data for new Project Tenders
• Method time Definition for New projects using MTM Data cards or VA/NVA analysis using Video study
• Prepare Manufacturing Routing tasks with operation sequence and Method time
• Prepare Task sequencing for New projects and review it periodically
• Maintain Method time database with Detailed Action plan for Method time reduction and REX library.
• Perform Continuous observation study and identify opportunities for improvement in Method time/Spent time
• Prepare Manufacturing Line design with workstation requirements based on S&OP and declare Capacities of Each Product line
• Define Manning for Manufacturing based on Method time and S&OP volumes
• Participate in the project design reviews and provide feedback on the return on Experience
• Drive Continuous Improvements and implement it for improvements in Method time, Spent time, EHS & Ergonomics
• Recurrent Cost Management - Drive improvement in Industrial times through periodic meetings and reviews
• Lead Small projects based on Organization requirement and implement it through Project approach
• Jigs & Fixtures Design, Development and Validation capabilities.
• Manage Indirect suppliers to get the work done based on Organization needs
• Identify and implement innovation in Tools, Jigs & Fixtures
• Reporting the Weekly dashboard for Industrial Engineering.
• 5S definition in Shop floor
• Perform Value Stream Mapping and identify the Kiazen projects.

Other activities:

• Contributes to industrial costing during tender phase with right recurring cost.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficient in English - Read, Write and Speak
• Familiar with Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• MTM or Basic MOST certified
• Experience in Lean

EDUCATION

• B.E Mechanical / Industrial Engineering

• Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering experience in Mechanical Assembly and Harness manufacturing process.
• 7 to 8 years in the Field of Industrial Engineering.
• Productivity improvement and Cost saving techniques
• Lean Manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma tools.
• Value stream mapping execution.
• Certified MTM Or MOST time study tools
• 7 to 8 years in the Field of Industrial Engineering.
• Knowledge of Jigs and Fixture Design/Manufacturing

Organizational Reporting

• Reports hierarchically to the Manger - Manufacturing Engineering
