Mission

Key missions of the position:

• Responsible for the Maintenance of the Semi-Automatic and Automatic Electro Pneumatic Test benches

• Responsible for the Test bench conceptualization, Design, Development, Install & Commission the Test Benches

• Responsible for the Automation of the Manufacturing Processes with deployment of Special Purpose Machines/Tools/Fixtures/Robots/Cobots

Responsibilities

Electro Pneumatic Test Bench (Semi Automatic & ATE ) Maintenance

• Test Bench Troubleshooting & Support for the Existing Test benches available in the plant
• Establish/Perform Preventive Maintenance as per Schedule
• Test Bench Spares Inventory Management (Plan & Maintain the Spares)
• Ensure Test Bench Availability for Production with target MTBF & MTTR
• Calibration of Test Benches as per Schedule
• Vendor Identification and development for Test bench Maintenance
• Publish Test Bench Maintenance Dashboard as per defined frequency

Test Bench (Semi-Automatic & ATE) Design & Development

• Study the Requirement and finalize the Scope of Test Bench
• Preparation of scope of work document including equipment & component selection
• RFQ Launch and Technical discussion with test bench suppliers
• Technical Evaluation of potential suppliers
• Follow up for Test Bench Procurement
• Test Bench Design Approval along with Cross Functional Team (CFT)
• Technical Interface and Support during the development of Test benches
• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of Test Benches along with CFT
• Installation and Commissioning of Test Bench with supplier support
• Handover to Production after CFT Approval
• To Manage the Budgetary Control for Capital Investment for the project and prepare the Return on Investment (ROI) for each capital investments
• To report the progress of the Project in routine manner to the Management

Industrial Automation

• Study the existing Manufacturing Process , Machines and Test Benches for Automation
• Conceptualize and develop Automation Projects based on study/requirements
• To explore and propose the ways and means to automate the manufacturing processes using Robots/Cobots
• Design and development of Special Purpose Machines / Tools / Fixtures as per requirement
• Preparation of scope of work document including equipment & component selection
• RFQ Launch and Technical discussion with suppliers
• Technical Evaluation of potential suppliers
• Follow up for SPM/Tools/Fixtures Procurement
• Design Approval along with Cross Functional Team (CFT)
• Technical Interface and Support during the development
• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of SPM/Tools/Fixtures Procurement along with CFT
