To know more about Lowe's India, visit www.lowes.co.in I. Job Summary: The primary purpose of the role is to support channel analysis and optimization of the Supply Chain Networks. The analyst will determine the most efficient and optimal flow of product from supplier to store and customer, while balancing service and cost. The position will work closely with the Manager Supply Chain Channel and Optimization and others to support analysis needs as part of the SC Strategy organization II. Roles & Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities: . Monitors reporting weekly to identify items and programs that need additional analysis and/or to have their strategy adjusted based on changing business conditions . Conducts central channel analysis using the appropriate optimization tool and model to review alternatives and trade-offs within business and strategy guardrails . Supports the processes and governance of channel business rules and decisions that ensure costs, capacities, and capabilities are accounted for to ensure timely flow of goods through the network. . Uses advanced channel modeling capabilities (including data management, modeling and analytics, and knowledge management) to support channel and flow decisions. . Provides supply chain flow analysis support across the enterprise (SC Strategy, SC Planning, SC Replenishment, SC Engineering, etc.) . Supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) development/execution and training for optimization tools, process updates, and workflow tools . Provides technical expertise for supply chain modeling tools and works closely with IT and Data Analytics team to convert legacy tools . Develops deep understanding of supply chain analytics and optimization concepts . Assists with the development of content to support decision making, including the supporting modeling results, alternatives considered, timelines and financial impacts/requirements III. Years of Experience Overall 4-5 Years of experience . 3+ years' experience in optimization principals, modeling, and tools . 3+ years' experience modeling and data analytics . 3+ years' experience in creative problem solving and working cross-functionally to achieve cost targets, desired design intent and project deadlines . 2+ years' experience in or knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and Optimization through use of modeling and simulation tools IV. Education Qualification & Certifications (optional) Required Minimum Qualifications: . Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or Related Field . MBA or master's degree in Supply Chain V. Skill Set Required Primary Skills (must have) . Experience in Data mining and visualization tool such as PoweBI, SQL, MS Access, VBA and Excel . Experience in building analytical models, proficient in mathematical and Statistical analysis . Experienced in Python and R . Demonstrated experience in mining data from multiple systems via database analysis tools. . Working knowledge of Merchandising decision-making tools for Suppliers, Items and Sourcing to include Financial determinations . Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management . Working knowledge of distribution and transportation operations . Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets for use in analytical tools . Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
