We\'re currently looking for an Indirect/Transaction Tax Analyst, Bengaluru To succeed in this role, you must have experience in: Compliance: . Review, maintain processes, conduct tests, and verify controls relating to tax exemption certificates. . Maintain and update, research, and respond to questions relating to tax exemption certificates. . Review, research, document, and maintain tax classification of products for sales, use, and telecommunication taxes. . Assist with tax review, filings, and payments. Audits: . Prepare and provide documentation to support sales/use/telecommunication tax audits. . Engage and provide auditors with supporting documentation. . Compile, extrapolate, analyze, and evaluate audit exposure, and provide recommendations to management. Other: . Customer support - provide tax support for customer-related questions. . Assist with other tax-related analyses, research, and special projects. Successful Candidate must be: . Hands-on, quick learner, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. . Enjoy a challenge and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. . Have strong customer service acumen and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. . Have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation to make RingCentral successful. Desired Qualifications: . Bachelor\'s degree in finance or accounting . 2 - 4 years of experience working in corporate tax or Finance department. Additional training can be provided to the right candidate, who may have light-on experience but has a great attitude. . Advanced proficiency in Excel is required . Ability to compile, extrapolate and analyze huge data sets in Excel . Experience in using Microsoft Access and Tableau is a plus . Experience in VAT/GST Indirect Tax compliance is a plus . Work well under pressure, ability to meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities . Detail-oriented, organized, ability to plan . Ability to understand and analyze complex issues . Excellent oral and written communication skills . Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers .
