Manager - Underwriting
Responsibilities:
1. Review all processes in the loan life cycle, identify gaps and suggest tech driven solutions/improvements to mitigate risks.
2. Create SOPs for all key processes and lending workflows.
3. Review existing credit policies and create afresh for new financial products.
4. Monitor and analyse the credit portfolio to identify risks and suggest policy changes.
5. Ensure implementation of risk management policies and conduct training that may be required.
6. Prepare risk review presentation for Senior Management & Board Meetings.
7. Closely work with the Tech and Analytics teams to drive process change/automation.
8. Identify opportunities for growth based on identification of low-risk pools in the existing portfolio.
Skillset:
1. Analytical thinking ability.
2. Ability to analyse and derive insights out of large data sets.
3. High level of proficiency in MS Excel.
4. Multiple stakeholder management and ability to build consensus.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate profile:
1. CA/MBA (T1 & T2)
2. 2-5 years of experience in process audits & risk analysis.
3. Candidates working in Risk Advisory, Governance Risk & Compliance functions of large audit consultancy firms will be preferred.
4. Comfortable in working in a fast evolving and agile environment.
