Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/ Manager, Underwriting Operations (P&C)


In this role, you'll be responsible for managing teams and service level targets role for P&C Insurance Operations Business. Facilitating goal-level creation for the team in line with Business goals and works with team to ensure the goals are cascade to all associates.


Responsibilities

Manage teams of 30-40+ and service level targets. Providing guidance to direct reports. Monitor, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers. Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client UW and company stakeholders. Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function. Approving hiring and redeployment requests within his/her group Root Cause Analysis on escalations received Very good problem solving skills & attention to detail. Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work
