Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Prepare, cut, and marinate vegetables, meats, and spices for Indian dishes.
Cook basic curries, gravies, rice, breads, and side dishes under supervision.
Ensure proper use of recipes and maintain taste, quality, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Assist in inventory management by checking stock and reporting shortages.
Follow instructions of the Commi 1, Chef de Partie, or Head Chef.
Support during peak hours by handling assigned sections efficiently.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials and cooked food.
Participate in training sessions to learn advanced cooking skills.
