Responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian cuisine with consistency and quality.
Skilled in various regional Indian dishes including curries, gravies, biryanis, and vegetarian/non-vegetarian preparations.
Plan and execute menu items in coordination with the Head Chef.
Ensure proper use of spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods.
Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
Supervise kitchen operations and guide commis and helpers during food preparation.
Monitor food storage, inventory, and kitchen hygiene as per safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cooking area at all times.
Ensure timely preparation of dishes during busy service hours.
Uphold restaurant quality, hygiene, and safety protocols consistently.
