Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes with authentic flavours and consistency.
Handle North Indian, South Indian, tandoor, curries, gravies, biryanis, and snacks as per menu requirements.
Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
Plan and manage mise-en-place for all Indian food sections.
Ensure proper marination, spice blending, and traditional cooking techniques.
Monitor quality and freshness of ingredients used in Indian cuisine.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the Indian kitchen area.
Coordinate with the Head Chef/Sous Chef to plan new Indian dishes and seasonal menus.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation of raw materials and spices.
Supervise helpers and junior cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Follow all food safety guidelines, including HACCP standards.
