GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The Sr. Configuration Analyst II is responsible for building and configuring the benefit schemes for clients using internal/external configurable platforms, against business requirements. The colleague will work closely with the requirements owners (SA/DA/BA) and provided complete configuration solutions independently. Providing support against internal user acceptance testing and user acceptance testing defects and will be responsible for improving quality in both the delivery of change and business as usual activities. Leading best practice adoption and improvement for the team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Ongoing Operations

  • Detailed knowledge of flexible benefit and Health Care domain to support the client and the internal team;
  • Provide technical expertise and domain knowledge;
  • Work with the requirements owners to ensure key learning areas are driven out across all flex clients.
  • Effective and transparent communication with Ops Manager/Team.
  • Good understanding of all standard Procedure Documents
  • Able to prioritize and identify change requests and adapt build approach based on changes in scope.
  • Design & Configuration
  • Designing/encouraging innovative functional solutions which meet the needs of the client and are in line with the current strategy for the product
  • Configuring the flexible benefit platform, workflow and content management systems in line with the business requirements;
  • Include configuration friendly comments in the customization and descriptions to ease the maintenance;
  • Identify system development needs and complete change request template document.
  • 100% coverage in unit testing in terms of the requirements from the Plan Provision;
  • Should be responsible for doing peer review on area of expertise;
  • Actively referring and contributing towards Knowledge repository (Client data warehouse/Training Videos) before reaching for any support and there should be not instance for lapse on this process;
  • Should be able to do proper impact analysis in terms of scope;
  • Must carry technical expertise to help team and clients.
  • Provide configuration support and create new best practices for new functionality and business offerings.
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Understanding of H&B, flexible Domain and implementation experience.
  • Configuration Skills
  • Subject matter expert of database model and able to evaluate data trends across clients;
  • Proficient in writing complex queries.
  • Expert in content management and reporting tools.
  • Web technologies: Complete understanding of HTML, CSS usage;
  • Large contributor to team initiatives around implementation approach to improve engagement, time management, analytical skills
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
  • Should be sound with Team Work, Time Management, Analytical Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to provide ongoing quality.
  • Strong Mathematical and English skills.
  • Competent in Word and Excel.
  • Content management tool /Data Analysis & Reporting (ETL tool)
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Web technologies: Complete understanding of HTML, CSS usage
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
