Our Company is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Counselor to join our dynamic team. As an Immigration Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and support to individuals navigating the complex immigration process. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients\' immigration needs and eligibility.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on immigration laws, policies, and procedures to clients.
• Assist clients in completing immigration applications, forms, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and submit immigration petitions, including but not limited to work permits, visas, green cards, and citizenship applications.
• Liaise with government agencies, such as USCIS and consulates, on behalf of clients.
• Maintain client confidentiality and ensure ethical conduct throughout the immigration process.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and policies to provide accurate advice to clients.
• Offer counseling and emotional support to clients during challenging immigration processes.
• Collaborate with legal professionals, when necessary, to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Keep accurate records of client interactions and case progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in law, immigration studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an Immigration Counselor or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Familiarity with various immigration forms and applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Empathy and patience when dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in languages, especially English, Punjabi is highly desirable.
• Certification or accreditation as an Immigration Counselor is a plus.
