Qualification/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Development or similar field.
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of the P&C Insurance industry .
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with SaaS/Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Experience identifying client needs and relating to Product Solutions.
  • Experience applying modern automation technologies & products.
  • Experience with implementation of Duck Creek Platform solutions for Policy Administration, Billing and Claims.
  • 16+ years work experience including at least 9+ years of large scale solution delivery for Tier-1/2 Insurance clients, with diverse team.
  • Deep experience with a breadth of technologies, including C#, SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft Foundation technologies, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX.
  • Strong understanding and execution experience in software project management, including Agile development practices.
  • Deep hands-on technical ability working with third party business & technology products and ability to learn new technologies rapidly.
  • Strong hands-on experience with technology integration architectures and current technology trends.
  • Track record of creating assets/innovations/automations to create impact wrt cost savings/performance improvement/accelerating delivery.
  • Strong creative, analytical, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication, client facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization and with technical and non-technical users.
Role Description :
  • Manage the development and deployment of solutions using Duck Creek & other applications, interfaces, systems, and/or enhancements to existing applications that support broad engagement across the client enterprise.
  • Creates and delivers custom demos or POCs based on customer requirements to demonstrate appropriateness/feasibility of the Duck Creek application, rapid prototyping and tailored solution demo for the client.
  • Provide full lifecycle management, coordinating with teams, to choose/create architecture, designs and deliver end-to-end solutions across platforms and applications.
  • Create, maintain, promote and achieve plans & schedules for improving application quality, enhancement opportunities, and new project development.
  • Partner with client business stakeholders & IT personnel with timely communication with regards to technical requirements, deliverables, issues, status and overall technical governance & risk mitigation
  • Manage a development team that consists of both internal and external resources supporting projects and systems in a mixed technology environment with distributed applications and partnering external organizations.
  • Ability to define, measure and manage Quality measures/metrics to improvement SDLC
  • Responsible for development, communication and maintenance of solution architecture
  • Responsible for understanding, supporting, and enforcing business rules related to application/service performance, data security (including system permissions, technical standards and regulatory compliance), availability and reliability.
  • Lead and/or participate in the research and selection of development technologies that improve quality, reduce costs, and/or reduce development time.
  • Assist in defining development and usage standards, and helping to ensure compliance with those standards as it relates to supporting constituent engagement systems.
  • Promoting shared frameworks across multiple dependent product lines.
