Technology Infrastructure - End User Computing We are a 570+ strong global organisation that designs, delivers, and supports technology products at the core of the workplace environment, which directly impact user experience and enable productivity and collaboration. Role Description The Identity & Authentication Services team, within the 'End User Computing' division, is responsible for the delivery of the authentication services for end user to internal and cloud-based application, provides second and multi-factor authentication solutions and services to all applications deployed globally using industry standards from a variety of global enterprise vendors. Identity & Authentication solutions team is looking for a candidate with solid experience and proven technical skills to join their team as a senior development to support their Enterprise Single-Sign On Platforms. Candidate will be part of a development team that is responsible for maintaining enterprise single sign-on solutions that are critical to the day-to-day operations of multiple business applications across the bank. The ideal candidate will be working within a well-defined team structure and with global teams to actively support requirements management, software design & development, testing and implementation processes as a Senior Engineer. In addition, the ideal candidate would be capable of learning and working independently in a fast-paced environment. While the role is not expected to do any people management, candidate should be able to mentor other junior engineers in the team. Key Responsibilities: Participate in design and development of platform enhancements in the enterprise single sign-on platform supported in the team Translate functional and non-functional requirements in to technical solutions Develop code to enhance components and interfaces according to technical solutions Propose and document technical solutions for end-user and/or business problems Participate in design and code reviews Perform unit testing and component testing of developed code Participate in the defect management workflow - analyse, fix, support tests Participate in project planning (estimation) and project tracking (daily standup, weekly meetings) Support analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of platform incidents and problems that occur in production and non-production environments Support adoption of, and adherence to, Agile best practices Report on performance of individual team members and service providers, working to improve their performance and skills Report and manage application onboarding status and migration targets Communicate regularly with the Product Owner on delivery dates and status Assist the team lead in estimating effort and duration amounts for tasks Maintain Jira tickets and support release management Provide direct management and oversight of the team, ensuring tight integration among members, and a healthy work environment Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Desirable - Hands-On experience with Kubernetes At least of 5 years hands-on experience working in Software Development or related role Experience in one or more of the following: Web development, implementation and deployment of these services in the Cloud Identity and Access Management know how (i.e open ID connect) Work experience in Single Sign On solutions or Multi-Factor Authentication deployments Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes with experience working in an Agile team setup Knowledge of a Cloud platform such as AWS & GCP Good communicator, proactive, self-reliant and team player Benefits The Bucharest Excellence Centre is continuously expanding by building new teams and defining new projects and new opportunities The CTO (Chief Technology Office) division is actively driving the IT strategy of the Bank always transitioning to modern, currently cloud-based solutions, always introducing innovation in the way we work A culture of continuous learning, training, and development to help you excel in your career Flexible working to assist you balance your personal priorities 24 days holiday, loyalty days, plus bank holidays that take place during weekends A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, Gym benefits and more Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family Public Transport Allowance and meal tickets Our values define the working environment we strive to create - diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
