Project: Mace is providing PMC services for the up-gradation work (Addition of Banquet Hall/External Development works, Retrofitting works & Landscaping works) in the operational hotel. It is a luxury 5-star hotel property with 357 super premium rooms, a full-service spa, and a bar/lounge with an outdoor pool, a health club, and a sauna. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing support in day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring of the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.
• Acting as the main technical adviser on construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
• Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
• Assisting in managing and delivery of the project.
• Checking the plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
• Liaising with the subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyor and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Communicating with clients and their representatives this includes attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the project’s progress.
• Overseeing the quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Preparing reports as and when required.
• Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

About you You have a degree qualification in civil engineering and member of a professional body. You have experience of working on projects of similar nature-Retrofitting/Refurbishment works. You are digitally savvy - an expert user of various planning software. You can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You have good knowledge about the application of design principles in the delivery of construction projects and delivering high end luxury bungalows You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
