Job Description

An Ice Cream Scooper's primary duties involve serving customers by scooping ice cream, providing excellent customer service, operating the register, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key responsibilities include creating a positive customer experience, adhering to health and safety guidelines, stocking supplies, and performing opening and closing tasks. This entry-level position requires strong customer service skills, reliability, physical stamina, and basic numeracy skills. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

: Greeting customers, suggesting flavors, answering questions about products, and providing a welcoming atmosphere.

Order Fulfillment

: Scooping the correct amount of ice cream, adding toppings, preparing sundaes, and assembling specialty combinations.

Point of Sale Operations

: Operating the cash register, handling payments, and accurately making change.

Store Maintenance

: Cleaning and wiping down surfaces, maintaining clean display tubs, and keeping the work area organized.

Stocking and Inventory

: Restocking ice cream flavors, cones, bowls, napkins, and spoons for the next shift.

Food Preparation

: Assisting with basic food preparation and proper food storage procedures.

Health & Safety

: Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
