  • Provisioning, configuring, operating and maintaining physical/virtual servers and supporting storage infrastructure in-premises and at Azure
  • Provide administrative support for mass storage systems and cloud based solutions
  • Acts as subject matter expert on Commvault tool. Good to have working experience of HP3PAR
  • Actively participates in professional development of other less knowledgeable data backup and SAN resources
  • Resource should understand how to utilize in-depth knowledge of virtualization using unified compute, storage and network resources
  • Monitors relevant systems for availability and performance. Performs periodic metrics reporting to show continuous performance and aligns SAN and data backups based on required performance guidelines
  • Be able to communicate with external vendor and understand the client requirements
  • Adheres to established best practices for deploying SAN and data backup systems and applications (e.g., vendor best practice recommendations)
  • Works with Tier II teams to help resolve complex issues
  • Conducts ongoing performance testing and tuning to identify emerging performance issues (e.g., capacity -Provide training support to applicable audiences (e.g., Help Desk, technical trainers, engineers)
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • HP3PAR, Network Administration, IP Management. Azure cloud architect certified
  • Knowledge on Data Backup & Data Encryption / Security, SAN/NAS Analyst, Commvault, IT infrastructure
