JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Human Resources Generalist II
Location: India

The Human Resource Generalist is accountable for supporting the Human Resource needs of their assigned Branch(es') talent acquisition, employee relations, employee engagement, policy and legal compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, payroll processing, and employee and management coaching.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Builds effective business partnerships with management. Develops and/or recommends Human Resources solutions that balance employee needs with departmental and overall company goals.
  • Ensures payroll for assigned Branches is processed accurately and timely, including time off, deductions, proration, and any other adjustments (does not include tax processing).
  • Liaise with external vendors for company's Compensation and Benefits, Training, or other related HR activities including but not limited to employee insurance company, government departments, and recruitment agency etc.
  • Ensures new hires, terminations and changes are processed accurately and timely.
  • Successfully manages and resolves complex employee relations and performance issues by conducting detailed investigations, creating and maintaining appropriate processes and documentation, organizing information and making recommendations regarding course of action.
  • Ensure various HR processes and policies are complied.
  • Manages and trains management and employees on Mouser HR system as needed.
  • Conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance, maintains HR records in compliance with applicable internal and legal requirements.
  • Supports regional and corporate HR Management with administration of various projects and policy/procedure implementation and changes. Manages special projects.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
  • High level of interpersonal skills and conflict management to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Customer oriented, professional interaction with stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local/official languages and English.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and integrity.
  • Good team player with supervision skills is a plus
  • Sound judgment, demonstrates problem solving abilities, decisiveness and flexibility.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Open to changes and able to drive and manage changes
  • Knowledge of HR practices, SOP, policy and local regulations and compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Working in MNC environment or experience as a HRBP role for Asia countries will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws would be a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Business is preferred
  • 2+ years of HR working experience is required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
