HR Leader in India will be closely working with the India core leadership team (measurement & analytics) to drive business success. A key role within the NielsenIQ Asia Pacific HR Team, responsible for providing HR leadership and support to the NielsenIQ business in India. You will be the primary HR Business Partner leading and setting priorities for HR in India. Responsibilities Design and implement people strategy and initiatives to enable business priorities in India. Facilitate local business leadership to identify, advocate and enable decisions and actions to drive effectiveness and business performance, including but not limited to people-related actions, e.g. HC planning, people engagement & retention, performance management, change management, talent development . Collaborate with the broader HR functions and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure continuous improvement and fit for purpose of HR initiatives and solutions, through effective feedback loop. Manage and resolve sensitive and complex issues, e.g. employee relations/disciplinary actions, emergencies, executive complaints and control/compliance/governance issues Be the main contact point for Business Leaders in the designated portfolio regarding the implementation of people strategy and priorities and BAU people processes, and general HR policy guidance and interpretation. Lead and provide coaching to junior staff in India HR team to ensure successful execution. About you Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results. Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis. Sound knowledge of local HR practices and employment laws. Demonstrates confidence and courage to appropriately challenge assumptions and a high level of professionalism to push through on solutions while maintaining relationships at all organizational levels. Demonstrates interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills and ability to handle sensitive situations/documentation. Able to work in a dynamic, fast past-paced environment, and adapt as the overall HR operating model. As the main point of contact between HR and the business, an excellent communicator who aligns interests among various stakeholders to promote a cooperative and collaborative work environment. Minimum 10 years of HR business partnering.
