The HR Transformation Program (HRTP) is a business-led program that will help to underpin the new ABB Way operating model and the decentralization agenda. It is a key step in modernizing the HR part of our legacy ERP estate and will create sustainable benefits for ABB. As Motion Deployment Lead, you will be responsible for delivering local execution and implementation of the solutions designed by functional and technical streams of the program in all countries under your lead business. You will work with the HRTP Deployment Stream Lead to develop the network, tools and structures to manage and track local deployment plans and ensure successful implementation in your countries. You will act as key point of contact for your local teams on all program-related activities and are responsible to ensure successful planning, agreement, execution and support of all local activities. The role reports to the Business HR Operations Manager, Motion and HRTP Deployment Stream Lead. This project role will end mid-2025 - a permanent assignment in the post-project organization will be assessed in due course. You will report to the HR Operations Manager - Motion. ...The location of this role is open to all ABB Offices and reallocation is not needed. ...Your responsibilities For all local activities, ensure full understanding of the task and deliverable, integrate the activity into the local plans and support preparation of kick-off and execution. Support local teams in onboarding additional resources. Oversee execution of local activities and up-to-date tracking of status. Ensure stakeholders are informed about the activities and their responsibilities. Make sure that risks and issues are raised, logged and actioned or escalated as appropriate. Ensure timeline and quality completion of the agreed deliverables. For delayed tasks, establish mitigation plan and ensure it is followed through. Support designing concepts and executing activities related to setup, tools and governance in the Deployment stream itself. Connect the dots between countries and activities to highlight interdependencies and define follow-on actions. Establish a trustful relationship with country teams with regular meetings to review the plan, the progress on deliverables and discuss feedbacks, challenges and concerns. Gather and exchange feedback and best-practices within and across teams and ensure improvement actions are followed. Regularly provide updates to Business HR Operations Manager and HRLT as needed. Co-shape the change agenda, orchestrate its execution and ensure information flow from HRTP to business area, divisions and countries. Demonstrate leadership (indirect) for the teams in your area of responsibility by conveying bigger picture of the program and purposes of the tasks, fostering collaboration, and encouraging change and new ways of working. Your background 5-8 years of experience in project management or in Human resources Project Management certification (PMP) a plus. Experience in large transformation programs enabled by technology Experience in indirectly leading and influencing cross-border delivery teams working towards a common goal. Proven change management skills Strong drive and focus on delivery and execution - eager to understand the details of the tasks and drive the progress with a team. Excellent communication skills: present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders. Proven stakeholder management experience as well as networking skills - able to build trustful relationships. Problem solving skills: systematic approach to a problem, understanding consequences in a systemic manner, addressing it via appropriate governance and coming to resolution.
