You will be working as HR Operations Delivery Manager - Payroll and will be reporting to HR Operations Hub Delivery Lead AMEA&NAM & will be a part of Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for driving HR operations globally or in a respective geography and taking full accountability for the end-to-end operations, delivering high-quality services against agreed performance targets. Also ensuring a high degree of customer experience and is responsible for people management globally or in the given geography. Your responsibilities Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, overseeing process of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, transfer) Implementing, maintaining and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions Ensuring payroll related compliance is processed on time (PF, PT, ESI, LWF, TDS) and responsible for updates to Internal payroll processing software, systems, and procedures based on the changes as per the Income tax and labor laws Resolving issues and answering payroll-related questions. End to end income tax management including senior management taxation and other incentive taxation related to LTIP, MIP etc Responsible to managing hire to retire quarterly audits and other external audits related to statutory audits and responsible for GDPR, audit tasks. Involving in global initiatives like acquisitions, divestments, new policies, etc Delivering services according to signed-off processes, KPIs and quality targets. Responsible for managing statutory compliance like PF, gratuity and share plan tax and ensuring all HR processes incorporate appropriate control mechanisms, including 4-eye-check or SOX checks, data protection and country legal or regulatory compliance tasks Driving implementation of streamlined practices and processes across areas of responsibility which will result in cost reduction, improved internal control, process efficiency and excellent customer (employee) satisfaction Partnering with other managers, Human Resources Business Partner\'s (HRBPs), country tax manager, trust management team and key stakeholders regarding payroll changes Your background Postgraduate or bachelor\'s degree in accounting, business administration, human resources or a related field Minimum 15+ years of experience with extensive knowledge of the payroll function including audits, internal control, and payroll taxes Good knowledge of labor law, trust management i.e. provident fund and gratuity trust with good understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes PAN India Knowledge of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) payroll process will be an advantage Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, and professionalism Attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly High degree of structure and self-organization, deadline focused Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with strong interpersonal skills and high degree of passion and commitment More about us ABB\'s shared services organization which delivers operational and expert services in Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Legal, Global Travel Services and external Customer Contact Centers.
