Job Summary



The Cafe Admin & HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions and administrative operations for the cafe to ensure smooth daily functioning, employee satisfaction, compliance with policies/laws, and a productive work environment. This role combines

HR expertise

with

front-line cafe administrative leadership

to manage staffing, payroll, employee engagement, records, policy implementation, and support cafe operations.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Functions



Recruitment & Onboarding



Plan and manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of staff. Create job postings, conduct interviews, and coordinate inductions.

Employee Relations & Engagement



Address employee queries, grievances, and workplace concerns professionally. Promote positive workplace culture and support employee engagement activities.

Performance & Training



Monitor team performance, conduct appraisals, and help identify training needs. Plan and implement training programs to build cafe service quality and team efficiency.

HR Operations & Compliance



Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, attendance, leaves). Manage payroll coordination, statutory compliance (PF/ESI/shops-act etc.), and HR documentation. Develop or update HR policies, SOPs, and ensure consistent implementation.

Administrative & Cafe Support Tasks


Staff Scheduling & Administration



Prepare staff rosters, manage attendance, and approve leave requests. Ensure documents like food badges, certificates, and mandatory training are up-to-date.

Operations Support



Coordinate with cafe operations to help resolve issues, support team members, and maintain workflow. Assist with vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and basic administrative duties.

Reporting



Generate weekly/monthly HR reports (turnover, absence, payroll summaries). Provide insights and recommendations to management for staffing and performance improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's in

Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field

preferred. Experience in hospitality HR or F&B industry is an advantage.

Skills



Strong knowledge of

Indian labour laws

and HR compliance. Excellent

communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work with HRMS/payroll software and maintain employee records. Problem-solving, leadership, and team-building abilities. Multitasking ability, attention to detail, and empathy in employee relations.

Experience



Minimum 5

-10 years' experience

in HR or HR operations, preferably within hospitality, cafes, QSR, or service industry. Prior experience handling compliance, payroll, recruitment, and performance management strongly preferred.

Working Conditions



On-site position at the cafe with

flexibility required

for peak business hours, weekends, and occasional extended schedules. Travel between cafe outlets (if multiple) may be required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
