Job Summary The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes in the restaurant. This includes recruitment, onboarding, training, employee engagement, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager plays a key role in creating a positive work culture aligned with Kofuku's values. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding o Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles (front-of-house, back-of-house, support staff) o Partner with department heads to forecast staffing needs o Organize and conduct onboarding and orientation programs Training & Development o Identify training needs and coordinate regular training sessions o Ensure staff are trained on hygiene, safety, service standards, and product knowledge o Track performance and provide coaching and development plans Employee Relations o Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances o Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment o Organize employee engagement and team-building activities Performance Management o Oversee appraisals, feedback cycles, and performance reviews o Help managers with goal-setting and employee development planning Compliance & Administration o Maintain employee records and HR documentation o Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF/ESI, and other statutory requirements o Manage attendance, leave, and payroll coordination with accounts Requirements o Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field o 4-6 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B industry o Strong knowledge of HR laws and best practices in India o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills o Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems Preferred Skills o Experience in multi-location or chain restaurant operations o Working knowledge of Japanese work culture is a plus o Fluency in Hindi and English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus) Benefits o Competitive salary o Staff meals o Opportunities for growth in a growing restaurant chain
