Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital employee records for all employees.
Manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding (joining formalities, documentation, induction) to exit (full & final settlements, exit interviews).
Prepare and issue all HR-related letters (appointment, experience, warning, etc.).
2. Payroll & Attendance Management:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time for all employees.
Maintain and reconcile daily attendance records, leaves, and overtime calculations.
Handle all payroll-related queries from employees.
3. Statutory Compliance (Critical Function):
Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labour laws.
Manage and file monthly, half-yearly, and annual returns for
ESI, EPF, and PT
.
Handle all correspondence with ESIC, EPFO, and other labour department authorities.
Maintain statutory registers (e.g., Muster Roll, Wage Register, Leave Register).
Stay updated on changes in labour legislation and implement necessary changes.
4. Policy & Procedure Development:
Assist management in drafting, implementing, and communicating HR policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure all policies are followed consistently across the organization.
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare:
Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention.
Organize festivals, celebrations, and recognition programs.
Address employee grievances in a timely and effective manner.
Oversee employee welfare facilities (canteen, first-aid, etc.) and ensure a safe working environment.
6. Performance Management:
Support the management in implementing a simple and effective performance review system.
Maintain records of performance appraisals
Educational Qualification:
Minimum:
A full-time
Bachelor's Degree
.
Preferred:
Master's Degree / Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (MBA-HR/MSW/PM&IR)
from a recognized university.
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years
of proven, hands-on experience as an HR Executive or similar role.
Non-Negotiable Experience:
Must have independently handled
end-to-end payroll, ESI, EPF, and statutory compliance
for a manufacturing or factory setup.
Experience in the
FMCG, Food Processing, or Manufacturing industry
is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Essential:
In-depth, practical knowledge of Indian labour laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, EPF & MP Act, ESI Act, Bonus Act, etc.).

High proficiency in
MS Office (Excel is mandatory)
and experience with HRMS/payroll software.
