Job Description

The HR Executive is responsible for handling all aspects of human resources within the hotel, ensuring effective recruitment, employee management, and compliance with labor laws. This role supports the HR department in maintaining a positive work environment and promoting a strong organizational culture while overseeing HR operations across the hotel. The HR Executive will also work closely with department heads to address staffing needs and handle employee concerns.

Key Responsibilities:



Recruitment & Onboarding:

Assist in developing job descriptions and posting vacancies for all hotel positions. Manage end-to-end recruitment process: screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations. Conduct orientation and onboarding programs for new hires. Maintain and update a recruitment database of potential candidates.

Employee Relations:

Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns. Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives. Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts as per company policies. Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.

Performance Management:

Assist in setting up and monitoring employee performance review systems. Support managers in performance appraisals and identifying training needs. Track employee performance and ensure they meet company standards.

Training & Development:

Organize and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Ensure staff members are aware of health & safety practices and other compliance training. Monitor the effectiveness of training and recommend improvements as necessary.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets and employee attendance records. Administer employee benefits (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans). Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding compensation and benefits.

Compliance & Policies:

Ensure adherence to labor laws, health & safety standards, and hotel policies. Update employee handbooks and HR policies as necessary to align with legal changes. Maintain employee records and ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.

HR Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare regular HR reports on key metrics such as employee turnover, attendance, and training. Keep records of employee personal data, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Employee Engagement & Welfare:

Organize employee welfare initiatives, such as team-building events and recognition programs. Promote the hotel's values and ensure that all employees are aligned with its culture and mission. Coordinate annual staff surveys to gather feedback on employee satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an HR Executive, HR Assistant, or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee benefits. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills. Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:



Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD). Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment. Experience in payroll management and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems). Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
