1. Recruitment and Onboarding
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment of faculty, clinical staff (doctors, nurses), administrative, and technical staff.
Liaise with department heads to identify staffing needs.
Conduct initial screening, schedule interviews, and manage offer rollouts.
Organize onboarding, orientation, and induction programs.
2. Employee Records and Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records, including qualifications, appointments, and MCI/NMC/DNB/INC documentation for teaching and clinical staff.
Ensure timely submission of compliance reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., NMC, DCI, INC).
Support inspections by regulatory authorities (NMC, NABH, NAAC, etc.).
3. Payroll and Attendance Management
Monitor attendance, leave records, and shift rosters.
Coordinate with the accounts department for payroll processing and resolve discrepancies.
Manage biometric or digital attendance systems.
4. Policy Implementation and Grievance Handling
Implement HR policies and procedures in line with hospital and college norms.
Address staff grievances and escalate critical issues to management.
Conduct disciplinary procedures when necessary.
5. Training and Development
Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
Facilitate Continuing Medical Education (CME) or staff development programs.
Maintain training logs for faculty and non-teaching staff.
6. Performance Appraisal
Assist in setting up and conducting performance evaluations.
Maintain appraisal records and support performance improvement plans.
7. HR Operations and Support
Manage employee engagement programs, celebrations, and welfare activities.
Coordinate exit formalities including no-dues, exit interviews, and final settlements.
