Role Description
The HR Divisional Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the execution of activities from the wide range of HR governance and compliance tasks, either directly responsible for task execution or indirectly responsible via the efforts of other team members. The Specialist's responsibilities may include all or some of the following, financial planning and business forecasting, reporting output quality and performance metrics, ensuring satisfactory infrastructure and control function service level delivery and supplier sourcing and pricing negotiations. In addition, the Divisional Management Specialist may be responsible for analysing the impact of changes and evaluating the corresponding changes to cost and the impact to the forecast. The Divisional Management Specialist is responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving policies, processes and procedures that deliver consistent and reliable products and services.

Your key responsibilities
  • Governance & Compliance: Lead internal controls for HR policies and practices, ensure labor law compliance, and manage relationships with statutory authorities.
  • Vendor & Financial Oversight: Govern HR vendors through due diligence, performance reviews and contract management
  • Policy & Risk Management: Drive periodic updates of employee handbooks, HR policies and procedures, lead HR inputs to audits risk workshops and mitigation actions.
  • Operation & Service Excellence: Oversee HR operations governance, monitor SLA's/KPI's and ensure escalation to country/regional leadership as needed.
  • Strategic HR leadership: Advise leadership and regulatory changes and HR governance capability within the team
Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible to varying degrees for (but not limited to) the following topics for HR India:
Establishing and monitoring proper internal control and governance processes for HR and policies/procedures
  • Oversight and management of vendors for labor law compliance
  • Managing relationship with statutory bodies such as the Ministry of Labor and other statutory bodies where necessary
  • Working with Legal and Global Sourcing on Vendor reviews, selections and appointments.
  • Managing HR Vendor relationships
  • Managing day to day HR Budgets (Financial and FTE) and providing transparency on HR costs to relevant management
  • Coordinating the updates of the employee handbooks and the documentation of Key Operating Procedures
  • Governance over HR Policies and Cost Management
  • Coordinating HR inputs to HR audits and Risk Workshops, and resulting actions/reports.
  • IT coordination, including hardware, software and access management, as well as associated cost monitoring, local BISO issues and license compliance (Excluding Transaction Management)
  • Managing the relationship between HR and HR Operations
  • Governing the SLA's of HR & HR Operations, including the monitoring of established KPIs, and ensuring escalation to HR country Head and Regional HR COO, as appropriate
Your skills and experience
  • 10 years' experience in some combination of operations, finance, governance or control functions
  • An understanding of Accounting/Bookkeeping.
  • Working knowledge of India Labor Laws
  • Good knowledge of MS Office products
  • Fluent English language skills, including excellent written communication style
  • Management experience, including managing activities/solutions remotely
  • Strong Advisory skills
  • Strong Customer & Service Orientation
  • Performance Orientation and track record of delivery within agreed measures for success
  • Proven track record of acting with integrity and fairness
  • Openness to Innovation & Change, and to helping lead others through the change process
