The Role




Based in Bengaluru, India reporting into the Global HR Business Partner, we are searching for a talented HR Business Partner, responsible for delivering a full range of HR services across our new Tech Hub. You will work closely with our Local Management Team to ensure we are building the best Tech Hub possible and that we deliver a great employee experience and create a culture of \xe2\x80\x98self-service\' for all India staff.
This role is focusing on both generalist and strategic in nature, working in close collaboration with business stakeholders, talent acquisition and the local team to ensure our HR deliverables are aligned with their ambitious targets of growth as well as local compliance.


What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle for India employees including, but not limited to; onboarding & orientation, payroll & benefits, supporting work permits and visa applications, maintenance of HR systems and offboarding; all the while ensuring we are fully HR compliant in accordance with local legislation.
  • Work with our General Managers to ensure people plans are developed in accordance with our business objectives and local market strategies.
  • Work with the Global HR Business Partner on delivering all aspects of the HR Roadmap in the Tech function. This includes but is not limited to: strategic workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, salary review and bonus processes (calibration) and employee engagement.
  • Always ensure compliance with local/EU employment regulations in all activities undertaken and maintain confidentiality.
  • Provide consultancy and advice on all HR related matters, ensuring adherence to all legal and best practice obligations including employment law, employee relations, disciplinary and grievances (complaints), performance management, change management/restructuring and absence management.
  • Create a structured onboarding and orientation plan for all new starters ensuring a \xe2\x80\x98first in class employee experience. This also includes the creation of a probation review framework and supporting managers with specific onboarding training plans for their teams.
  • Confidently advise managers on how to resolve employee relations issues, using up to date and strong knowledge of local employment legislation across your locations. Ability to advise on risk.
  • Embed a performance management culture within the Indian location as a means of delivering high performing teams by ensuring clear objectives, feedback, and the improvement of performance delivery.
  • Support managers with employee engagement action planning using the data from our quarterly pulse surveys to drive improvement and ensure a continued focus, including working closely with our office manager and ensuring strategic initiatives are driven through a local \xe2\x80\x98engagement group\'.
  • Building out a succession plan for your area and aligning it to our other functional plans so we have a broader view of talent cross-functionally.
  • Deliver training for your area where necessary, including New Manager induction, Performance Management and Managing Underperformance.



What have you done?
  • Strong HR generalist background, experience of working with Centre\'s of Excellence to execute people strategy e.g., employee engagement, salary review, performance management annual processes.
  • Ability to guide and influence the business in all HR aspects, being a champion for HR process and policies in our India office.
  • Experience of having worked in startup and technology teams in India is a plus
  • Workday experience is advantageous.
  • Experience of delivering projects to tight deadlines in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience of working in an international multicultural environment (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great time management and able to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time.
  • A strong focus on delivering great customer service to internal customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • Knowledge of EU employment regulations.
  • Comfortable working autonomously but equally happy asking for support when required.
  • Excellent knowledge of India employment law and translating this to HR policies and practice.
  • You should be happy working on ground level operational HR tasks but also able to step up to a more strategic level when required.

Education within HR or similar field (preferred).
