The HR BI Manager will be part of the Global HR Excellence & Analytics team and will be responsible to manage day-to-day deliverables and development of global reports and dashboards. The HR Excellences & Analytics team’s mission is to offer relevant and accurate workforce insights enabling data-driven decisions to solve business problems, improve people and stakeholder’s outcome and augment the quality of decisions. It includes analysists maintaining data collection processes, creating reports in HR systems, extracting and processing data, developing and maintaining dashboards in BI tools and conducting analysis to generate insights. The manager will also collaborate closely with the IT Business Intelligence team and will act as an interlock between the stakeholders (HRBP; HRD’s; Business Leaders; External Vendors; 3rd Parties) and the analysts to detail stakeholder requirements and follow up on their delivery. Other responsibilities include identify and cross relevant data points to answer stakeholder questions / conduct ad hoc analysis; Conduct quality control / establishing QC protocols for periodic KPI production; Review & Allocate service tickets to relevant teams; identify data integrity issues. Responsibilities

  • Manage team’s workload and assign projects and tasks
  • Understand external and internal business context and stakeholders’ purpose to support in formulating their needs in terms of workforce information / KPIs / reports / dashboards / ad hoc analysis
  • Define projects scope, identify high level strategy to deliver requests as per requirements while minimizing future maintenance and formulate detailed requirements for analysts
  • Follow up on the advancement of work items
  • Apply logics to raw data sets to validate automated calculations / establishing QC protocols for periodic KPI production
  • Identify opportunities to further automate existing insights production and reporting tasks conducted manually in HR teams
  • Collaborate to developing training material for the HR community on using HR Analytics tools
  • Build excellent working relationships with HR teams, Business Leaders and key stakeholders
  • Provide data and analytics inputs required to monitor HR services delivery efficiency
  • Focus on data quality and assurance activities and fulfilment of data audit requirements and data governance
  • Support special projects with HR data and analytics expertise
  • Troubleshoot data and reports.
  • Bring external thinking on best practice data management, reporting and analytics to drive improvements in HR Services
  • Keep personal knowledge up-to-date through external networking and attending conferences bringing back leading edge and innovative HR Data and Analytics thinking
Requirements
  • Analytical Skills with an ability to interpret workforce related metrics
  • Hands on experience in handling Reporting & Data Analytics
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM Systems and its Reporting Capabilities
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Broad Knowledge of HR Concepts & Terminology
  • Strong understanding of market relevant HR reports and metrics and HR Service Performance Measures
  • Project and resource management
  • HR operations or HR shared service team management experience would be an asset
  • Exposure to other data visualization tools would be an asset
  • Exposure to advanced analytics techniques such as predictive analytics and organizational network analysis, or employee listening platforms would be an asset
  • Exposure to data analytics platforms such as Workday People analytics, Prism, Visier, One Model or others, or statistical tools such as SPSS would be an asset
  • Knowledge of current and forward-looking trends in HR Data and Analytics
  • Proven ability to drive innovation and improvement in data and the use of analytics
  • Ability to motivate others, boost morale and build commitment within the team
  • Proven experience of leading and driving business change
  • Proven experience of managing projects and using data effectively within a PM role
  • Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive situations within data protection legislation
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, working with other HR colleagues, suppliers and their team to ensure timely and professional delivery
  • Proven experience of advising and supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding customer focus and the ability to manage customer requirements through a partnership approach
  • Ability to identify individual needs and balances these with business needs appropriately, setting clear expectations.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time based on business need
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to include strong presentation skills
