Job Summary:

Talent Services (TS)
is a core service function within the Global Delivery Services \xe2\x80\x93 Enablement Services organization, providing multiple Talent Portfolio support services including Talent Enablement and Operations, Talent Attraction and Acquisition support, Onboarding support, Talent Reporting, Talent Rewards, Learning Administration, DE&I, Global Mobility, Workforce Management and Performance Management support to EY member firms. TS provides services to country, region, area, Talent executive and other EY stakeholders across the globe. These services are delivered from our centres in Dalian, China; Trivandrum, Kochi and Bangalore, India; Wroclaw, Poland; and Manila, Philippines. TS teams deliver consistent, high-quality and operationally efficient Talent Programs and Portfolio support services to EY through a globally efficient and effective network of GDS centres.
Digital Insights, Provides strategic people reporting, analysis, predictive analytics, and workforce planning capabilities to enable EY to make informed, evidence based, commercial decisions to drive business value. Establishes overall organisation effectiveness and value across EY with real time process embedded insights to increase accountability and transparency while delivering at scale.
Virtual Talent Hub (VTH)
is an extended delivery model for high quality skills and specialism. Reporting VTH serves to support the preparation and review of complex People reports and analysis of Talent metrics and results. The function caters to the design and development of complex reports and custom dashboards to user specifications as well as contributes to special projects related to Area/ Region/ SL measurement strategy.
US Talent Enablement Center (TEC)
is a team that delivers highly specialized solutions for US Talent functions across project management, visa & immigration, accommodations, analytics, policy and operations. Providing the highest quality support with a focus on managing risk to the firm. TEC centralizes and enables consistency across multiple functions for the regions, service lines, national practices and Centers of Excellence.
VTH HR Business Analyst role seeks data analysis and analytics professional with a specific focus on, data investigation, predictive modelling, and data visualizations to deliver strategic insights to decision makers. The person in this role requires strong client relationships with senior talent leaders. This is an important position requiring both business awareness and technical knowledge, providing challenging opportunities for motivated individuals to contribute to the direction of achieving our strategic ambitions.
Essential Functions of the Job:

The key function of this position is to

  • Consult with our senior talent leadership in the United States to understand their strategic imperatives. Provide exceptional service by being connected, responsive and Insightful. Understand their needs and business questions to determine the right approach for analysis and what to deliver.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders (including the Talent Enablement Center and VTH), Talent Leaders, Strategic Talent Consultants, Digital Talent Reporting and Analytics team, etc.) to keep on the pulse of what is important to leadership and build relevant analysis and interpretation.
  • Establish credibility by demonstrating an understanding and keeping current on Talent Analytic trends, research and tools. Generates innovative ideas to employ in deliverables.
  • Independently drive the successful delivery of projects and products using strong project management and deployment focused activities.
  • Analyze and clearly present data and other information to identify significant trends or key issues, provides recommendations based on key trends and forecasts.
  • Able to deliver clear and concise verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding in both parties. Able to communicate complicated data and analytics simply and clearly.
  • Produce analysis and visualizations through cutting edge technologies such as PowerBI.
  • Generate innovative ideas and solutions that improve products, insights and our ability to efficiently deliver.
  • Support global and local workforce planning processes by facilitating planning activities, communications, and escalations
  • Meet recurring and ad hoc analytic needs to drive evidence based decision making and action
. Key Objectives of the Role:

  • Good business acumen \xe2\x80\x93 ability to understand data analytics landscape and to consider the functionality and integration requirements in line with the analytical and reporting capabilities required to implement strategic priorities.
  • Proactive consulting skills that drive business impact; able to interpret business requirements and, where prioritized, co-create the most relevant & pragmatic approach
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools and well versed with related market trends, leading practices, services, and solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, resource requirements and meet deadlines
  • Strong hold on project management skills to focus on deliverables with agility
  • Good to be familiar with statistical techniques
  • Ability to participate effectively in virtual teams and networks across diverse and dispersed geographies.
  • Strong teaming skills; collaborate effectively across talent ecosystem, within the digital team and the firm at-large.
  • Strong communication skills for sharing thought leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - the ability to operate within budget and effective time frames.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to track and interpret trending directions for data analytics and to identify potential future options.

  • Ability to cope with ambiguity; to drive change and performance outcomes in a complex and agile environment.
  • Develop high level familiarity with existing EY Reports, Dashboards, and other analytic tools, promoting the use of existing resources before developing new.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Possess high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Proficiency with MS Power Platform highly desirable
  • Possess a global mindset with the ability to work virtually across multiple countries, time zones and cultures, leveraging different technologies.
  • Have strong numeracy and analytical skills to grasp complexities and identify relationships among data via data modelling, ability to address problems and issues through data cleansing and organization
  • Knowledgeable on Data Science, Data Integration, Data Visualization and Data Analytics concepts and workings
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic (VBA) scripts and Macro development highly desirable
  • Good operational experience or knowledge with HR processes and systems related to workforce reporting, recruiting, learning, performance management and overall people data
  • Extensive reporting experience including knowledge of process and data usage. Knowledge of standard metrics and key performance indicators
  • Strong design aesthetic and visualization skills, Expertise in providing in depth HR data insights using Excel and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong experience with developing actionable management dashboards for HR or Talent organizations.

Other Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency with HR Technology (PeopleSoft, Success Factors, Workday and/or Taleo a plus)
  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools

Job Requirements: Education:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline required.
  • Diploma in Talent Analytics will be an added advantage

Experience:
  • 6-8 + years or more of professional experience working in HR Services \xe2\x80\x93 Data Analyst/ Reporting or Operations domain

Certification Requirements:
  • PMP, Agile certifications desirable
