Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of all restaurant areas including dining space, washrooms, kitchen support areas, and staff zones. The role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff, in line with the restaurant's hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning of dining areas, washrooms, corridors, back areas, and other assigned spaces. Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors regularly. Clean and sanitize washrooms, toilets, and restroom fixtures. Dust and polish furniture, glass, fixtures, and restaurant decor. Collect and dispose of garbage from guest and staff areas following waste segregation rules. Maintain cleanliness of windows, mirrors, doors, and partitions. Assist in deep-cleaning schedules including kitchen support areas, store rooms, and high-dust surfaces. Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor. Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following standard operating procedures. Immediately report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards as per restaurant policies and statutory requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment. Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards. Attention to detail and ability to work systematically. Physical stamina to handle long hours of cleaning work. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 10th standard / High school education preferred. Prior experience in housekeeping/cleaning in hotels, restaurants, or commercial establishments is desirable.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
