of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role ensures that cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards are maintained at all times while leading and training housekeeping attendants to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to room attendants and public area cleaners.
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet the required
cleanliness and presentation standards.
Ensure all housekeeping staff follow proper cleaning procedures and
use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Coordinate with the
front office
to manage room status updates (occupied, vacant, clean, dirty, out of order).
Handle guest requests, complaints, or feedback professionally and promptly.
Monitor and maintain inventory of
linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies;
report shortages or damages to the Executive Housekeeper.
Train, motivate, and guide housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
Ensure adherence to
hotel hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Conduct regular briefings and ensure staff grooming and uniforms meet policy requirements.
Support in
deep cleaning schedules
and special housekeeping projects.
Report and follow up on
maintenance issues
in rooms and public areas.
Prepare daily reports and assist in scheduling and performance evaluations.
