detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor
to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure that the restaurant maintains the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining a welcoming and immaculate environment for guests and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
Inspect dining areas, restrooms, kitchen back areas, and storage spaces regularly to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and checklists for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with safety standards.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; raise requisitions when needed.
Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain consistency and attention to detail.
Coordinate with the restaurant management and kitchen teams for special events or deep-cleaning schedules.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
Maintain records of cleaning checklists, attendance, and stock.
Requirements:
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a
restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
.
Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage a team effectively.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and special events.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment handling.
