Job Overview - Housekeeping Supervisor



The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining room readiness, and coordinating with other departments.

Duties & Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and quality. Ensure timely room readiness in coordination with the Front Office. Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly. Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs and upkeep. Manage linen, uniforms, and housekeeping supplies. Train staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene, and safety standards. Prepare duty rosters and monitor staff attendance. Ensure adherence to hotel SOPs, hygiene, and safety regulations.

Experience & Preference



Experience:

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in hotel housekeeping, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role. Experience should include room inspections, staff supervision, inventory and linen management, guest handling, and coordination with front office and maintenance departments.

Preference:

Candidates from

Palakkad

with good knowledge of

Malayalam

and familiarity with local vendors and workforce will be preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
