Job Description

A Housekeeping Supervisor is a mid-level manager in hospitality or commercial settings, responsible for leading a team of housekeepers, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, managing supplies, creating schedules, and training staff to maintain a presentable and satisfactory environment for guests or occupants. They handle daily operations, quality checks, inventory, and often step in for cleaning tasks during staff shortages, acting as a key link between staff and higher management. Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Assigning duties, creating schedules, training new hires, motivating, and evaluating performance.

Quality Control:

Inspecting rooms and public areas to meet cleanliness and presentation standards.

Inventory & Supplies:

Ordering, managing, and distributing cleaning supplies and equipment. Operational Efficiency:Developing procedures, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation policies.

Guest Satisfaction:

Addressing guest requests and complaints to ensure a positive experience.
