The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently maintained across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to train and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, guide, and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure they meet company and hygiene standards.
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed.
Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment, materials, and supplies.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linen, placing orders when necessary.
Address and resolve guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services promptly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Conduct regular staff briefings and communicate effectively with management.
Report maintenance issues to the relevant department for timely resolution.
Support the housekeeping team in completing cleaning tasks during peak times if required.
