The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and overall guest satisfaction in guest rooms and public areas, in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-the-house areas, and laundry
Allocate work assignments and prepare duty rosters for housekeeping staff
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff on SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards
Ensure proper usage, handling, and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Monitor linen, uniforms, guest supplies, and housekeeping inventory
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments for room status updates and repairs
Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and ensure prompt resolution
Maintain records such as room checklists, lost and found register, attendance, and stock logs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or staff concerns to management
Assist in implementing eco-friendly and sustainability practices

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Housekeeping preferred
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a hotel or resort
Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Working Conditions
Flexible working hours including weekends and holidays
Physically active role requiring standing and walking for long hours

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
