Supervise and guide housekeeping staff including room attendants, janitors, and cleaners.
Inspect rooms, public areas, and work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Assign duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and housekeeping equipment.
Train new housekeeping employees on procedures and safety protocols.
Address guest or client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare housekeeping schedules and duty rosters.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
Monitor staff attendance and report absenteeism or disciplinary issues.
Coordinate with maintenance and front office departments for smooth workflow.
Maintain records related to housekeeping operations (cleaning checklists, inspection reports, etc.).
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
12th pass or Graduate.
2-4 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts.
Familiarity with MS Office is a plus.
Physically fit to carry out inspection and support tasks.
