The Housekeeping Staff or Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained according to hotel standards. Their work directly impacts guest satisfaction and the hotel's overall cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms daily as per hotel standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
Clean bathrooms, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and empty trash bins.
Restock supplies such as soap, shampoo, tissues, and minibar items.
Handle guest requests for extra amenities or services promptly and politely.
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or lost items to supervisors.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures while using cleaning products and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storerooms.
Participate in deep cleaning tasks and special housekeeping projects.
Respect guest privacy and adhere to the "Do Not Disturb" policy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and guest service.
Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
