Job Summary:

The Linen Room Attendant is responsible for managing and distributing clean linen and uniforms, collecting soiled items, and maintaining records of laundry stock. The role ensures that all departments have adequate and properly maintained linen and uniforms to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, count, and store freshly laundered linen and uniforms. Issue clean linen, towels, and uniforms to housekeeping, F&B, and other departments. Collect soiled linen and uniforms from various areas and prepare them for laundry. Maintain inventory records for all linen and uniform items. Check the condition of linen and uniforms; report and set aside damaged or stained items. Ensure proper storage of clean linen to avoid contamination or damage. Assist in monthly inventory counts and stock-taking procedures. Coordinate with the laundry team or external laundry service to track deliveries. Maintain cleanliness and order in the linen room at all times. Follow hygiene and safety standards in handling and storing linen.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 0-2 years of experience in linen or laundry operations, preferably in a hotel. Basic knowledge of different types of linen and fabrics. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry loads and operate laundry carts. Honest, dependable, and able to follow standard procedures. Basic record-keeping and inventory management knowledge.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
