Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas.
Allocate duties and work schedules to housekeeping associates and ensure proper manpower deployment.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are met.
Ensure timely room readiness in coordination with Front Office.
Monitor usage of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; control wastage and maintain inventory records.
Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping associates on cleaning procedures and service standards.
Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping and ensure prompt resolution.
Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues and follow up until closure.
Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards.
Maintain daily reports, checklists, room status updates, and log books.
Support the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager in audits, deep-cleaning schedules, and special tasks.
Ensure grooming standards and discipline of the housekeeping team are maintained.
