Job Description

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas as per hotel standards. The role contributes directly to guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per established standards. Replace bed linens, towels, and other amenities in guest rooms. Replenish supplies such as toiletries, drinking water, and stationery. Ensure proper use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor. Follow departmental SOPs for room cleaning and turndown service. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform. Assist in laundry and linen handling when required. Ensure carts, trolleys, and storage areas are well-organized and stocked. Follow safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times. Provide courteous and prompt service to guests when approached.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school/diploma in hospitality (preferred, not mandatory). Prior experience in housekeeping (hotel/resort) is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit to perform cleaning duties. Attention to detail and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a team and flexible with shifts.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
