Job Description

The Housekeeping Trainee will assist in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The trainee will learn and perform daily housekeeping operations as per hotel standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, and pleasant stay for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per standard operating procedures. Make beds, change linens, and replenish guest supplies. Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum rooms and common areas. Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately. Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards before guest use. Support laundry operations as and when required. Handle guest requests politely and promptly. Follow all safety, hygiene, and grooming standards set by the department. Learn and adhere to the hotel's policies, SOPs, and service standards. Assist in deep cleaning, spring cleaning, and other housekeeping projects.
