Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of assigned areas to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests, residents, patients, or staff. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and amenities Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors and surfaces Empty trash and dispose of waste according to safety guidelines Replenish cleaning supplies and report low inventory Follow established cleaning procedures and infection-control standards Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly Respect privacy, confidentiality, and property of guests or residents Perform deep cleaning and special projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage (training provided if not) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and time-management skills Good physical stamina; ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures Professional attitude and positive work ethic
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 25-50 lbs) Exposure to cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment May require weekend, holiday, or shift work depending on operations
