Job Description

Thalassa Greek Taverna is looking for a warm, confident, and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our nightlife team. The Host/Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for managing arrivals, reservations, and seating in a fast-paced nightclub environment, ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and guest entries efficiently. Allocate tables based on reservations, guest preferences, VIP requirements, and availability. Maintain waiting lists during peak hours and communicate accurate wait times. Keep the entrance and host desk area clean, organized, and presentable. Provide information about the venue, events, timings, and seating policies. Coordinate with floor managers, service staff, and security for smooth guest flow. Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally. Assist during special events, theme nights, and group bookings. Support the team during busy operations as needed.
Requirements & Skills

Minimum high school education; hospitality or nightlife experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Basic knowledge of reservation systems and computers. Calm, polite, and professional attitude. Strong attention to detail with a guest-first approach. Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Well-groomed appearance and confident personality.
Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in restaurants, clubs, lounges, or hotels Strong customer service skills Comfortable working in a high-energy nightlife environment

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
