Job Brief:

We are seeking a warm, engaging, and customer-focused

Host/Hostess

to join our restaurant team. As the face of the restaurant, you'll be the first to welcome our guests and ensure they enjoy a smooth and memorable dining experience from the moment they step in.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests courteously, ensuring a friendly first impression. Manage reservations and maintain accurate seating charts. Coordinate table assignments based on guest preferences, staff rotation, and restaurant flow. Maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours, updating guests on wait times. Keep the host area neat, tidy, and welcoming at all times. Provide menus, highlight specials, and answer basic questions related to the menu. Communicate efficiently with servers and managers to ensure smooth service. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and with empathy. Assist with large groups, events, and special requests. Support fellow team members as needed during busy service hours.

Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality experience preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems. Calm under pressure with a polished, guest-oriented attitude. Attention to detail and a professional presentation. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
